working, slimming down, satisfy me, six, lovies, and how may I direct your call?

1 Working 8-4 is much easier than 9-5. I'm not sure quite why that is but it is. Perhaps it's the location, perhaps it's the staff, or perhaps it's because of the two fifteen minute breaks and the one hour lunch. That really works for me.
2 Miss Tula is not too happy with her restricted diet. She has been birding and mousing and now her waistline is a bit thick! So it's one cup a day spread out over the day and night. 
3 We have a chance to talk and although it is brief when I hang up I'm feeling satisfied and happy for the moment.
4 Day six of work. Knowing that I have nothing scheduled for the coming week I take it regardless of the fact that it's sunny, blue skies and relatively warm out.
5 I haven't seen my lovies for more than a week with work and their outings. Miss them.
6 Switchboard operator!

march memories

1 A trip into town to look for the bits and pieces needed for the hot tub. Mr P finds a wholesale place and saves us 75%.
2 It feels great to catch up on the blogs that I follow and read about the adventures that many have undertaken. I love that most of the blogs are snippets into the lives of people that I've come to really connect with. I wonder, will we ever meet in person?
3 My feet are happy. Happy to be out of my shoes, happy to be clean and polished and happy to be up and resting.
4 Joyce is visiting and we spend the evening talking about all sorts of things. I loved hearing about her holiday to Mexico and seeing the pictures. She looks great in a tan!
5 It's about time we had a stroll on the lake shore boardwalk. It's sunny, warm and perfect for photos and chatting.

The hot tub is up and running! It's a smaller sized one that is perfect for up on a deck. We luxuriate in the warm water and lean back to relax into our own spots. Funny how we just seem to figure it out without words. 
6 Chris has a new job and everyone is relieved and happy that his search is over. He starts Monday!

mousetraps, storm warning, being neighbourly, and hummus

1 The mousetraps are working and Mr P has caught mouse number two.He walks into the foyer with it still in the trap and when I look over I do the typical mouse shriek! lol Too funny!
2 There's a storm warning in effect here for the next few days. At the moment though, it's sunny, windy and cccooold.
3 We haven't spent much time with the next door neighbours since we moved in. All four of us are busy people so when they invited us over it was special. What a lovely young couple! So fun to find out that despite the age differences we have so much in common.
3a I loved the hummus that she served so much I had to take a picture of the jar! Totally perfect.

special visit, who is buying, and follow the bottleneck road

1 What to do on a sunny Saturday? Go visiting of course. Our visit was at the home of a lovely Iranian woman and her youngest son. They have an amazing home with views up and down the lake. We sipped ice water with lemon, snacked on watermelon and chatted about their travels to the middle east, life in Canada and ended up in some amazing vegetable and flower gardens. Isn't it true, gardens are where the best conversations always take place.
2 I take him out for coffee and a snack before we head home from our errands Penticton. He jokes about how I've been paying for all of our meals lately. He gets to figure out our anniversary dinner...but will he?
3 We take a side road home and follow a road with signs that say Bottleneck Drive. Along the way are many many fields of vineyards and huge homes and estates that are wineries.
