Best, growing, and in his eyes

 1 Knowing that my best friend is just that. 

2 I loved having an opportunity for personal growth.

The boys, kindness and blessed

 1 Spending the long weekend with the boys. They're busy, beautiful and very much unique humans. I wouldn't have it any other way.

2 He's kind in an unexpected way. It takes me by surprise and I'm grateful because I really needed it.

3 Blessed beyond measure and my heart is full. 

Ten not eleven, love time, and laugh it out

 1 When the power company sends you a letter that on October 31 from 11am to 3pm the power will be out. So you are getting ready for that and they turn it off at 10. Well I'm half way through the chores.

2 I spent the day with the man I love. We shopped for a woodstove and enjoyed a delicious Japanese style lunch.

3 We laughed so hard at our very weird and special to us sense of humour. 

Friends, agency, and get your shoes on

 1 I spent time with friends this week. Lunch & a visit, then knitting group. 

2 Exploring the best of agency and seeing how incorporating it into my world works. 

3 Walking. Taking time to enjoy the beauty of autumn.

Kuma, Ted, and in the plant gardens

 1 Dog sitting our granddog Kuma. He's the sweetest boy and I love having him here with us. 

2 Sharing Thanksgiving dinner with our gnome Ted. He's usually sitting on the mantle but I have fun making posts with him. 

3 Putting the veggie gardens to bed for the winter. Emptying the composts, mowing lawns and putting away tables and chairs. 

Queen, did it, and Bamboo Chopsticks

 1 The cat has been a little needy since she's been home from the cat hotel. I do believe she was spoiled royally during her visit.

2 It felt good to get caught up on bits and pieces that I've been putting off.

3 Sometimes take out is the best idea for dinner. Deluxe vermicelli bowl and war wonton. Yes please.

New people, trust, and enjoying

 1 Mr P finding new family. A 2nd cousin from his mom's side. We thought we had hit a dead end.

2 Have a friend confide in me. 

3 Lunch with another friend. 

Good, not so good, and exceptional

 1 His appointment went well so far 

2 My back is giving my butt and hip some grief. But I'm going to be okay.

3 Having amazing humans reach out. 

Gardening, kudos, and safe

 1 Getting the gardens ready for winter early this year. 

2 Satisfaction of a job well done.

3 There's a forest fire above our town. We are safe here at home.

Thoughts, okay let's do it, and love

 1 Thinking things through with logic and reasoning.

2 Spur of the moment decision.

3 Realizing that sometimes it's a situation where you just can't win but trying your best to help anyways because you love them.

Knuckle replacements, teatime, and text talk

 1 More surgeries means less pain.

2 Enjoying a cup of green tea while waiting for takeout.

3 Enjoying a good talk about agency. 

It was a good day.

 1 Painting sailboats.

2 Sewing group.

3 Mr P made dinner.

Friends, agency, and flowers

 1 Spending time with a friend and her dog. Both are sweet beings.

2 Reading about agency, and discovering ways to improve.

3 Buying cut zinnias and having one stem get roots and new flowers in the vase of water.

Breaking bread, getting it, and doing it

 1 Eggs Benny with my guy. I love going out for breakfast. 

2 Realizing that gentleness often yields the best results.

3 Self care comes in many shapes and forms. Just do one thing to start and the rest will follow.

Connection, grown up and 3 more days

 1. We spent the whole day catching up, so wonderful having time to connect.

2. He looks and sounds amazing. 

3. More days yet. 

It's good, my son, it can happen

 1 When it's good news, you can breathe again.

2 Excited to see N after a year.

3 Finally feeling self control isn't an arm's length away. 

Adjusting, paintbrush, and the plan

 1 Being taken aback but regrouping and putting things where they belong.

2 Playing with paints. Seeing exploration as an opportunity to learn and not as failure.

2 Deciding late at night to practice painting leaves and discovering that I do the best upside down.
