productive, flowers and chili bowl

1 Sunday was a productive day: raked about 1/4 of the yard where the pine needles and branches are. Picked up and piled the big branches (they'll be burned later), thinned the raspberries and pruned about 1/4 of the grapes. Oh and transplanted a blueberry tree.
2 A few flowers are giving their last hurrah.
Such beauties.
3 The bowl of chili is piping hot in to the touch and in the mouth. Melted cheese and toast are the perfect with it.

It's nice to see these cheery flower photos at your place when everything here is dead or dying. Even your greens are still deep.
When I think of our outdoors, I only see browns, rusts and golds.

We are lucky...the bulk of trees and even our grass stays green year round. The leafy trees that change colour as welcome though as a reminder of the seasons.
