ice cream, the bottom part and dining

1. Yesterday was the first time she had had some ice cream in a bowl at our house.. She tried the spoon but discovered if she put her little pointer finger into it she would get a taste. Eventually, her dad gave her some on a spoon but I think she preferred her finger to lick.

2. I like people watching. Today their shoes and feet caught my eye. Sandals with shiny bits, flip flops, orthortic type shoes, runners with a wavy bottom in a bright yellow colour, untended feet, posh feet and toes, the brightest colour of plum on toenails and gum boots.

3. We eat lunch at a Japanese restaurant late in the afternoon. Sunumono soup, miso soup, dynamite roll and unagi roll. As a nice surprise the chef sends over a special treat, vegetable croquettes. I think they were squash, yam and cooked tempura style. Yummy!
